My favourite part of Deep Cove was the hanging valley walk (we were singing the whole way down)-Jakob Frazer

My favourite part on camp was going to Stella Falls. I got to jump into it but it was FREEZING!! But I had a great time

I loved the walks they were so fun! I liked how we got to go fishing a lot because I caught 13 fish! My Favourite walk was Hanging Valley. Deep Cove is so awesome !

Deep Cove Was Ganksta as !!!!! I Loved It!! The Walks Were cool but Long and Hard at Times But It Was Still Fun x We Sang Songs All the way Down on hanging valley it was cool. Lol  I Wanna Go Back !!!!!!

 Well uhm … my favourite part of Deep Cove was the nite tym uhp in the bunkrooms ! Soo much fun, & being the grudge (: Teehee ..  it was skuxx az, meh, madi & tawa are gankstaaaas . Way betta then skwl hahah. Byee xoxoxo

I enjoyed the Houbour cruze, and seeing all the lovely Dolphins.

My favourite part of camp was Hanging Valley and the boat cruise. I loved seeing the penguins and dolphins!!!

At Deep Cove my favourite part was Hanging Valley and the boat cruise. I loved going up and down the tree roots on the Hanging Valley walk. On the boat cruise I loved looking over the rails and watching the dolphins and penguins swim by.

At camp my favourite part of camp was fishing off the wharf . All the fish there are amazing, I think there’s even more fish there than out where the boats go.

At Deep Cove I really enjoyed the fish for spots and other fish that lurk around the deep sores of Doubtful Sound. Hanging valley I don’t like the rain but it was fun.

Seeing a weka at Deep Cove was my favourite thing.

Seeing the weka was cool and the fishing was fun. I caught one blue cod. Easiest walk was hanging valley and the hardest walk was the Old Doubtful walk.

Deep Cove is a place of amazing natural beauty which can be pretty hard to describe in words, but......

Check out the photos in this post and either:

•  in 20 words or less describe the pictures (the more descriptive the better)

OR if you are feeling really creative

•  write a short poem using the photos as inspiration.  Best poem will win a prize from the Deep Cove shop :)

Helena Falls - up close on a 'quiet' day.  When there has been a lot of rain there's no way to get this close!  Looking forward to seeing some photos and video of this from this years crew.

Everyone is looking forward to something - the massive amount of fish that you're going to catch, spying a kiwi on the night walk, conquering the tramps, seeing the dolphins on the cruise, cleaning toilets.....okay, maybe not cleaning toilets :)  I'd really love to hear what you are looking forward to the most on Deep Cove camp this year.  Post your comments below....(make sure you proof-read/edit your comments)
